news Pamela has an article in the inaugural issue of The Bulletin of the Eastern Native Tree Society. She wrote about "The Wondrous 3-D Full-Spectrum Laser Climbometer" for her pals in ENTS who strive for the utmost accuracy in measuring trees. (You can download the entire Summer 2006 issue, or just her piece (you'll need Adobe Reader). Pamela has been writing, editing, writing, proofreading, and writing . . . Here's one of the articles available online from Pamela's newspaper reporting days: “Michael Blaser: a man of the seas and the Q-Cs,” published in the Moline Dispatch and the Rock Island Argus in February 2003. Pamela’s story “Love Hz” was reprinted in the 2002 Venus Book Club volume titled Sex Machine: Eroticizing the Mechanical edited by M. Christian. This is a revised hardback edition of Eros Ex Machina: Eroticizing the Mechanical (Masquerade Books, 1998). Pamela’s essay “Trysts of a Maenad” is in Guilty Pleasures: True Tales of Erotic Indulgence edited by M. Christian (2001) from Black Books. Pamela wrote Chapter 9, “Dean’s Day Off” for the collaborative novel Politics Is Murder: An Iowa Mystery edited by Barbara Lounsberry (2000). The book is a fundraiser for public radio station KUNI-FM. |
